I am an avid fan of music. My tastes tend to lay in music outside of the US, but there are several artists within the US that I thoroughly enjoy. Of my international tastes, Japanese music has grow n to be my favorite. I tend to like all varieties of Rock, Dance, Electronica, Techno, and Pop (when it's good).
I am currently a college student, and I'm still trying to figure out what I want to do with my life. Because science has always been very important to me I had hoped to do something within the field of Chemistry, my intentions having been a forensic scientist (CSI). My performance in that however showed that I might be better at something else. So, after 1 semester I have already switched to a newly cultivated idea to work with one of my greatest interests. Music. Though I can play piano (having taken lessons for 8 years, now I am not) I figured I might be more suited for working in music not as a performer. I like to promote music that I particularly enjoy, and I am fascinated by cultures. My intended educational direction is now geared toward Journalism and Japanese.
I am volunteering as the coordinator for the Dir en grey National Street Team: Wisconsin Branch (www.myspace.com/degwi) and I am active in several online communities, forums, etc. (some might recognize me as staplegunman, forgotten_ghost, chaos13)
